Queensland Private schools leads its way
New figures have entirely shown that Queensland learners are now completing their year 12 and even more will also be graduating with vocational qualifications. State government today had just recently released the swag information in regards on how the 2009’s Year 12 learners have performed. The Educational Minister Geoff Wilson have entirely stated that it’s been considered as their most comprehensive data that ever been released in the Overall Positions and for this vocational education program and to its training qualifications. In the first time as anyone can ever see on school to school setting and it’s been determined on how many learners have obtained the Ops in each of these five bands. Similar break down will also be available as number of this VET qualifications. Data that been released in online setting through this Queensland Studies Authority have revealed the number results of learners in each of this OP band from the OP1 till 5, OP 6 until 10, OP 11-15, OP 16-20 and the OP 21-25. 12% of this OP will be in eligible Year 12 learners in the southeast Queensland were its entirely been awarded in OP of 1 to 5. Meanwhile, about 33% will be awarded in the OP of 1 to 10.
Just across the state, about one out of eight OP will now be eligible to learners that have just recently receive its score for about 1 to 5 that been compared for about 4 in 5 who have just recently receive this vocational educational and mere training qualifications. Figures have also confirmed that these private schools were already ahead of these state counterparts with at least 20% of their learners in just one third of states 197 private schools that have just score unto its top bracket. The Brisbane Grammar School and this Brisbane Boys College got the highest percentage of the OP1 to 5 learners that been followed through this Brisbane School of Distance Education. With that, best performing state schools will only be managing of pushing the 8% of their learners unto the highest OP band. In the southeast area of Queensland, the Tamborine Mountain State High School, Wellington Point State High School and the Benowa State High School got more than 8% of their learner’s award that is about an OP 1 to 5.
About 91% of these Queensland Year 12 learners have entirely attained both the academic or known as the vocational qualifications from the last year that is up from the 89% of 2008. Mr Wilson have also stated that about 91% of this learners have entirely achieve the qualification that includes the OP or the school based apprenticeship of the year 2009 up 2% of 2008. He also told the ABC that they have increases the mere amount of information that will be quite available for those parents in regards to what had happened to their respective schools. Lots of students will be staying and even completing the Year 12 and have also obtained the mere qualification in the end of Year 12. It’s been considered as quite good for them, good for their respective families and good for the Queensland economy. These figures have also show that about 78.2% of these learners will be finished in the Year 12 of 2009 that will be up to 2.7% in the previous year. So, about 56.9% of these learners have earned the VET qualifications that are up to 4.7%.
