Its been noted that the educational learning institutes in Oklahoma have already began paying for several children to study in the private schools as a result to the new rule that U.S. Supreme Court in Oklahoma released upon. Since, it’s supporting to those young learners who have learning disabilities. With that, special education must be provided despite on their condition. The Supreme Court in Oklahoma stated that if public educational learning institute in the country haven’t provide enough educational learning support those young individuals who have learning disabilities and can’t afford to forego to its special education in the private educational learning institutes, the government will the one to pay for their behalf for the continuation of their special education.
Just like the case of Nick Rohde who got autism and his parents can’t afford a private educational learning for him and his parents does want to let him study in the public schools. According to his father Wayne Rohde that they have been already battling with the education learning institutes districts for several years that passed and they can’t just get anything. In that case, they have just decided to pull their son in the public educational learning institute and give a home education program for academic learning sustenance. But parents like Wayne Rohde will now get another option to select upon. Since, this Supreme Court have just released another favor towards teenager individuals who got an Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder especially to the mere fact that the public learning institutes didn’t address any educational learning concern. With that case, the school district must be able to pay those teenagers or children who got autism for their formal learning.
Upon hearing this information, Wayne Rohde is very much glad about this news and it would be entirely a great support for those teenagers who got autism. Although, this new ruling is quite a challenge and little concern towards the Oklahoma State Board Association due to the financial support that they will rendering on it. Even though that this new ruling will result to a challenge financial tool but still the Oklahoma school districts together with the State Board Association will totally implement and support this system in order to provide the young teenagers with learning disabilities will have a good education and a better future.
The students drop out especially in high schools level of learning is one of the major concern of the Department of Education in the United States and to its different state. Since, it resulted of grate burden both economically and socially. In which, every school days about 7,000 learners dropped out from their schools annually. As a result, it adds up for about 1.2 million learners that will not be graduating from their high school with their peers for scheduling. Based on the United States Department of Education and nationally, the graduation rate towards the white learners was about 78 percent compared to 72 percent for the Asian learners, while 55 percent for the African American learners and about 53 percent towards the Hispanic learners. A recent study have been conducted and found out that D.C. graduation rate have already fell to 48.8 percent in 2006 that been compared to numbers of Maryland which shows a graduation rate of 73.5 percent while in the Virginia is still on 69.2 percent.
The most alarming level is the dichotomy between the urban and suburban schools. In which, the District is not alone on it. Seventeen of nation’s 50 largest cities got a high school graduation rates that is quite lower to 50 percent. While in Baltimore, those researchers that been found in 34.6 percent of city school learners graduated compared in 81.5 percent came from learners in public schools in Baltimore’s suburbs. The Virginia Department shows that the Arlington County’s drop out rate for the learners aims for limited English proficiency that is quite significant higher than its statewide average of 37 percent of members in Arlington’s class in 2008 school before the graduation. While half of the Hispanic learners drop their high school classes. Over all, it’s been observe that drop out rate occurred in the country is very much visible in public schools then followed by the private schools. But it was observe that most of the catholic schools in the country especially in Virginia got a lowest rate of drop outs of their high school learners and non graduated high school individuals.
There are several valid reasons why several individuals drop out from their high schools programs. It might be due to low financial income in the family and they need to support their family through earning a job employment first. Another reason is that, some high school learner can’t be able to get along the academic requirements and expectation of high school learning or maybe because of medical health concern. With these, reason the government together with the Department of Education created several students’ assistance program in order to support the high school drop out to get back to their education or forego an alternative learning in order to gain success in their career path.
Even though that the national recession is quite happening in the United States but still it does not slow the enrollment condition of the private schools in the country especially in the state of North Carolina. Since based on the recent statistical findings that been released last week that North Carolina got a highest record of private school enrollees. In which, about a total of 98,545 enrollees were been enlisted to the private schools that compose of elementary, middle and high school in North Carolina. This statistical result were been based on the findings of North Carolina Division of Non-Public Education. With these latest figure, it show an increase of about nearly 1,000 learners from 2007-2008 school year that despite of the poor economic status of the country still the North Carolina state obtains a higher figure of private school enrollees. This statistical result was quite surprising to lots of school administrators of the different public educational learning institutes especially in North Caroline.
Most of the school administrators or leaders of private schools in North Carolina stated that there were seemingly surprises of the result. Since, they are already preparing for the worst effect of economic recession and expected that they will be a decrease of enrollees but it was absolutely surprising that the economic recession have just a little effect towards their private institutions due to the consistent and increase of enrollees to their school. One of the reasons that most of school administrators have seen in regards to the increase of students in the private schools in North Carolina is because of location transfer. In which, some families are transferring to North Carolina due to the fact that they have find their living not costly and they can still continue enrolling their children to private educational institute. Besides most of the families have found several job opportunities in North Carolina that is quite rewarding to their part and that can meet the private education of their children. Aside of that, most parents have seen the importance of spiritual side of religion and with that it incline them to enroll their children to a school that got a combination of religion and quality of academic education program.
With that, the North Carolina would entirely be the right place for it because for about 683 private schools that been existed in this state 71 percent of this private educational learning institutes were been run by religious orders such as the St. Peter’s Catholic School in Greenville with its known good reputation of providing an excellent education services towards its learners.
